Description

The Blackmagic UpDownCross 100G is an eight-channel standards converter that supports SMPTE 2110 IP video streams over a 100G Ethernet connection. It converts up to 8 separate SD, HD or Ultra HD video streams simultaneously.

Its two 100G QSFP28 ports provide a redundant network connection in accordance with SMPTE 2022-7. A separate 1G RJ45 port is available for NMOS control, configuration and updates, and a USB-C connector is provided for local setup.

Each 2110 IP video stream contains 16 channels of embedded audio in 48 kHz, 24-bit format. Alongside the 2.2″ colour LCD, there is a front-panel speaker and a 6.35 mm headphone output. The optional Blackmagic IP10 codec can be used for 2160p59.94 and 2160p60 formats. The unit has two internal 100–240 V AC power supplies and can be mounted in a 1U, 19″ rack.
