Description
The TT685II is the successor to the popular TT685 and has been improved in several areas based on user feedback, while keeping all the strong features of the TT685.
Bounce angle
You tilt the flash head from -7° to 120° and rotate it up to 330°, for a flexible bounce angle both on-camera and off-camera.
TCM
TCM switches you instantly from TTL to manual mode while holding the correct exposure value, for an accurate result.
Locking mount
The TT685II has a quick-release lock for a secure, fast fit on your camera or light stand.
Flash modes
You use the TT685II in TTL, manual and multi flash mode. In TTL mode, HSS (up to 1/8000s), FEC, FEB and second-curtain sync help you capture every moment precisely. In manual mode you set the power in 22 steps, from 1/1 to 1/128.
External power
The power port lets you connect an external lithium-ion pack, such as the PB960, for more flash power and a shorter recycle time.
Light coverage
With a guide number of 60 at ISO100 and a zoom range of 20-200mm, the TT685II delivers wide, even light suited to a variety of lenses.
Wireless system
The built-in Godox 2.4G X system connects you wirelessly to compatible flashes and triggers, with a range of up to 100 metres and multiple groups and channels to avoid interference.
Transmitter and receiver
The TT685II works as both a transmitter and a receiver. As a transmitter, you pair it with units such as the V1, AD200Pro or AD300Pro; as a receiver, it works with transmitters from the Godox X system, such as the X2, X3 or XPro II.
USB update
The USB-C port lets you update the firmware; the sync port adds extra flexibility for triggering.
