GODOX TT685 II Speedlite for Olympus

The Godox Speedlite TT685 II Olympus/Panasonic is a compact TTL flash with a guide number of 60 (ISO100, 200mm) and a built-in 2.4G X wireless system. You control it with TTL auto-exposure or fully manually, with 22 power steps from 1/1 to 1/128. The flash head zooms automatically from 20 to 200mm and you can use it both on-camera and off-camera.

Bounce and controls

The flash head tilts from -7° to 120° and rotates 330°, so you can bounce light off a wall or ceiling without moving the camera. The TCM function switches instantly from TTL to manual while keeping the correct exposure value.

Flash modes

You can use the TT685 II in TTL auto-exposure, manual, or multi-flash mode with up to 100 flashes per shot. In manual mode you choose from 22 power steps between 1/1 and 1/128, with high speed sync up to 1/8000s and first or second curtain sync.

Wireless system

Thanks to the built-in Godox 2.4G X system, the flash works as a transmitter or a receiver, with 32 channels and groups A to D. That lets you build a lighting setup with other flashes or a trigger such as the X2, X3, XPro II or V1, up to 100 meters away.

Power

The flash runs on four AA NiMH or alkaline batteries and delivers about 330 full-power flashes, with a recycle time of 0.1 to 2.6 seconds. The power port also lets you connect an external battery pack such as the PB960 for more flashes in a row. After about 90 seconds of inactivity, the flash switches itself off.
