Description

K&,F Concept C Series Black Mist 1/4 diffusion filter, ultra-slim multi-layer coating

Balanced cinematic effect with preserved detail

The Black Mist 1/4 version is the most popular compromise between creative diffusion and clean image detail. It creates subtler glow effects around light sources, smooths skin and reduces harsh contrast while the image stays natural.

Technical specifications:

Type: diffusion filter, ideal for video and portraits
Effect strength: 1/4 - medium diffusion
28-layer anti-reflective nano coating
Extremely slim, does not vignette

What is the difference between Black Mist 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8?

The difference lies in the strength of the diffusion effect.

1/2 softens the image strongly, giving a distinctly artistic and dramatic look.
1/4 has a medium effect, ideal for a general cinematic look.
1/8 softens minimally, keeps the detail and creates only a discreet halo.
