Description

Directional condenser shotgun microphone. The RODE NTG-1 is a lightweight shotgun microphone developed for professional film, video, television and ENG use. The NTG-1 has a balanced output and runs on 48V phantom power. Its wide frequency range and dedicated polar pattern, combined with low-noise SMT circuitry, deliver excellent sound to any medium. On top of that it is a fairly light microphone, so it mounts easily on cameras, camcorders or a boom pole. A mic clip and a foam windshield are supplied with it. The supplied foam cuts wind noise significantly on outdoor shoots, as long as conditions are not too extreme. If you need more attenuation, you will find more effective windshields among the accessories. (Deadcat, WS6)
