The Sirui 40mm T1.8 autofocus anamorphic lens is designed for the Super 35 / APS-C image format and the Micro 4/3 mount. Its blue flares are suited to sci-fi and mysterious scenes as well as music videos.
- Desqueezing the 1.33x compression produces a 2.35:1 widescreen image from 16:9 footage
- STM autofocus supports eye detection and subject tracking
- The T1.8–T22 aperture has 11 blades, with operation selectable using the Click ON/OFF switch
- Manual focus with 360° rotation; AF/MF switch and AFL button
- 16 elements in 12 groups; minimum focusing distance: 0.6 m
- Filter thread: M77 × 0.75; weight without caps: 623 g
- Aluminium alloy body, electronic contacts for EXIF data and USB-C firmware updates
