Description

The Sirui IronStar 35mm is a full-frame anamorphic cine lens with a T1.9 maximum aperture, 1.5x squeeze and neutral flares. It has a native PL mount and includes an interchangeable EF mount module. Its 46 mm image circle covers a full-frame sensor; its horizontal angle of view is equivalent to that of a 23 mm full-frame lens. After desqueezing, a 3:2 image has a 2.25:1 aspect ratio and 16:9 footage has a 2.66:1 aspect ratio.

The lens has a T1.9–T16 aperture range and 16 aperture blades. Its optical construction comprises 20 elements in 16 groups, and the minimum focusing distance is 0.65 m. Manual focusing has a 270° focus throw. The lens has an M92 × 0.75 filter thread and a 95 mm front diameter. Weight without the cap: 1,024 g with the PL mount and 998 g with the EF module.
