SmallRig 5397B holder for an external SSD. It grips a drive 40–60 mm wide and 8–17 mm thick and fixes it to a cage with two 1/4"-20 screws, or magnetically to an iPhone 12–16 via MagSafe. Silicone pads inside guard against scratches.

Two ways to mount

Attach the clamp with two 1/4"-20 screws to a cage or magnetically via MagSafe to an iPhone 12 to 16. Silicone pads hold the drive.

Two-step fitting; the clamp opens in a controlled way and seats securely.

Installation Options

Precautions
1. When using with a case, ensure secure attachment between phone and case
2. Clamping range: SSDs within 40-60mm / 1.6 - 2.4in width and 8-17mm / 0.3 - 0.7in thickness
3. Non-MagSafe phones can be mounted using a magnetic metal ring (not included)
