The SmallRig 6246 is a pair of hot shoe covers for Nikon cameras. Each slides into the shoe on top of the body and caps the contacts that would otherwise sit exposed. Fitting and removing takes one movement and no tools.
The dual-layer build seats in the shoe without play, so the cover does not wobble and it keeps the shoe free of scratches. It also shields the contacts from dust and rain, which matters most when you shoot outdoors. Two covers are in the pack.
