Description

A modular aluminium cage for the Sony FX5 whose top plates come off, so the XLR-H2B handle or the DVF-EL1B viewfinder still fit. It carries an Arca plate, a NATO rail, an HDMI cable clamp and a row of 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads.

SmallRig Advanced "HawkLock" Cage for Sony FX5 6774 is an advanced modular cage for the Sony FX5. It protects the camera body, adds professional mounting points and keeps the setup flexible for different configurations with original Sony accessories.

Key features

Advanced protective cage: protects the Sony FX5 body and provides a solid base for additional accessories.
Modular design: the cage consists of top mount plates and a U-shaped cage; protective pads at camera contact points help prevent scratches.
Compatibility with original Sony accessories: the top plates can be removed for use with the Sony XLR handle XLR-H2B and electronic viewfinder DVF-EL1B.
Stable anti-twist mounting: the U-shaped cage is secured by three 1/4"-20 screws on both sides and on the bottom.
Improved battery-door ergonomics: the lever design at the battery compartment follows the camera body contours and improves finger support.
HDMI port protection: the dedicated HDMI cable clamp protects the port and helps maintain stable signal transmission during shooting.
Extensive expansion options: 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 1/4"-20 locating holes, 3/8"-16 threaded holes, ARRI locating holes, NATO rail, Arca-type quick release plate and strap slot.
Anti-drop safety design: both the NATO rail and Arca-type plate feature anti-drop stops at both ends to help prevent accidental accessory release.
Built-in magnetic wrench: the tool is stored directly in the cage for quick assembly and adjustment.
