Rode VideoMic Me video microphone for mobile devices

The RODE VideoMic Me is an exceptionally small yet highly sensitive directional microphone with excellent sound quality; its four-pole 3.5mm mini jack (TRRS) connector plugs straight into mobile phones and into some mobile devices through the headset socket. Compact size: the VideoMic Me is only 80mm long and weighs 34g Aluminium body with a tough black ceramic coating for durability No battery needed to run it (3V plug-in power required) Deluxe furry windshield to cut wind noise - included in the box! Compatible with most mobile phones and with selected mobile and desktop devices Thanks to the way the VideoMic Me is built it can be fitted to the phone facing either way, so it works just as well for normal video as for selfie video. The microphone picks up most of its signal from the direction the camera is pointing and rejects sound arriving from the sides and the rear. Its cardioid pattern makes it less directional than a shotgun, so the atmosphere stays natural even in small, enclosed spaces. There is a mini jack headphone output on the back of the VideoMic Me. Plug in headphones or earphones and you can monitor any audio stored on the mobile device or being recorded to it, even while recording! The microphone comes with a deluxe furry windshield built onto a foam core.
