Rode VideoMicro Mini Video Microphone

The RODE VideoMicro is an extremely small yet highly sensitive camera microphone with excellent sound quality - a very useful accessory primarily for small cameras, but for larger DSLRs too, whenever quality audio recording is needed. Compact size: the VideoMicro is only 80mm long and weighs 42g Aluminium body and a tough black ceramic coating for durability No battery needed to run it (3V plug-in power required) Rycote Lyre suspension for complete damping of vibration Deluxe furry windshield to cut wind noise - included in the box! Compatible with most cameras and with some mobile and desktop devices The VideoMicro picks up most of its information from the direction the camera is pointing, while rejecting sound arriving from the sides and the rear. Thanks to its cardioid pattern it is not as directional as a shotgun microphone, so the atmosphere stays natural even in small enclosed spaces. The microphone comes as standard with a furry windshield built onto a deluxe foam and with the SC2 TRS-TRS mini jack extension cable, which connects to the mini jack input of cameras. With the optional SC7 TRS-TRRS mini jack adapter cable the microphone can also be connected to the headset input of mobile devices.
