SmallRig HawkLock Camera Cage Kit for Sony FX5 (Advanced Edition) 6775

Modular HawkLock cage kit for the Sony FX5. It protects the body and adds an enclosed top handle, an HDMI cable clamp, a 15mm rod clamp, adapter-ring support and a spread of professional mounting points.

The SmallRig Advanced "HawkLock" Handheld Cage Kit for Sony FX5 (6775) is a professional handheld rig built specifically for the Sony FX5 digital cinema camera. Combining a precision-engineered modular cage with ergonomic accessories, this kit delivers enhanced camera protection, improved handling, and extensive expansion options for demanding production environments.

The modular cage consists of detachable top mounting plates and a durable U-shaped frame that can be configured for different shooting setups. Each section is secured using multiple mounting points to create a rigid anti-twist design, while built-in protective pads help prevent scratches and protect the camera body during installation and operation.

An enclosed NATO top handle provides a comfortable, secure grip for handheld and low-angle shooting. Its enclosed construction helps reduce the risk of accidental drops while allowing quick attachment and removal using the integrated NATO clamp. A dedicated HDMI cable clamp protects the camera's HDMI port and ensures stable signal transmission throughout production.

Designed for efficient handheld workflows, the kit includes an ergonomic wrist strap that reduces wrist fatigue during extended shooting sessions. A reinforced 15mm rod clamp provides stable mounting for follow focus systems and other rod-based accessories, while the included adapter ring support improves lens stability and minimizes stress on the camera's lens mount.

The cage also offers extensive accessory mounting with multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 1/4"-20 locating holes, 3/8"-16 threaded holes, ARRI locating holes, an integrated NATO rail, and an Arca-type quick release plate. Both the NATO rail and Arca plate feature dual anti-drop safety stops to help prevent accidental accessory release. A built-in magnetic wrench provides convenient tool-free adjustments during production.
