Manfrotto Befree GT XPRO carbon fibre tripod, twist leg locks, rotating centre column MKBFRC4GTXP-BH

The carbon Befree GT XPRO is the first Manfrotto travel tripod developed specifically for professional macro photographers. This carbon fiber tripod combines portability with maximum versatility.

Setting up the Befree GT XPRO is ergonomic and intuitive, and the tripod is extremely easy to carry. Its top casting houses a built-in 90 degree column rotation mechanism. This system not only lets you move the camera away from the tripod legs, it is also the simplest possible way to shoot straight from ground level or from above. The tripod comes with the portable and powerful Manfrotto 496 head, which combines versatility and rigidity with a high payload (up to 10 kg). Independent pan and friction control knobs give you perfect movement control. Thanks to the friction control, composing with zoom lenses is easier and faster.

The carbon fiber legs of the Befree GT XPRO are top quality and give the tripod exceptional stability at a light weight. That outstanding quality comes from a unique manufacturing process that maximizes durability, reliability and resistance.

The M-lock leg lock is strong and secure. The Befree GT XPRO features the unique 200PL-PRO plate, made of aluminum and fully compatible with Manfrotto RC2 & Arca-Swiss style plates: 2 rubber inserts maximize grip even at the steepest angles.

The Befree GT XPRO carbon travel tripod folds down to 43 cm, fits perfectly into its own carrying bag and attaches easily to any hand bag, photo bag or backpack.
